Credit Card CVV2 Response Codes
Overview
The payment processor verifies the CVV2 (card verification value) in a credit card transaction and sends a response code that indicates the results of the validation check. You cannot accept an order if the payment processor returns a failure response code.
These response codes are provided for informational purposes only and are subject to change without notice. Approval should be determined using the authorization response code and not be based on these specific response codes.
