The ROM Connect + Order Brokering integration is set up in the ROM user interface. After you define your Seller and Nodes, you define the Sourcing Rules that ROM uses to source the items in the orders that the system receives. For details on how order sourcing works and the business process behind it, see About Sourcing in the ROM user interface online Help.

There are two types of sourcing rules:

  • Core Rules, which are rule sets that contain selection criteria, attributes, and sourcing rules. For details on defining Core Rules, see Configure Core Rules in the ROM user interface online Help.
  • Seller Rules include a set of Fulfillment Constraints, Fulfillment Optimizations, Sourcing Restrictions, and Node Prioritization rules. For details on defining Seller Rules, see Configure Seller Rules in the ROM user interface online Help.
