The Item Master feed contains all of the product data in a SellerClosed A seller is part of an organization. It can represent a sales channel, geographic region, or line of business. Organizations can have more than one seller, but a seller can have only one organization.'s catalog. ROM uses this data for all of its order management and inventory functions. Using the ROM user interface, you can upload Item Master data to ROM using a .csv file.

Note: This feature is only available to Radial Easy Deployment (RED) clients with catalogs of fewer than 1,000 SKUs and to Radial Fulfillment clients using the ROM UI. You must have the appropriate permissions to access and use this feature.

Uploaded files must be in .csv format and can contain no more than 1000 items. If the file contains more than 1000 items, you receive an error message.

If ROM detects any exceptions in the file, it display a list of the exception items.

Note: When you upload new items, the new data overwrites the existing data for those items. Because the full item record is overwritten with each update, the full set of information must be sent for each item.

  1. From the Main Menu, navigate to Catalog & Inventory>Upload Items. The Upload Items screen appears.

  2. To select the file to upload, click or tap the Choose File button and navigate to the file. You can also drag and drop the file into the upload tile.

Note: The file must be in .csv format.

  3. Click or tap the Upload button.

As ROM uploads and processes the file, it validates the data within the file. If errors occur, they are listed in the Upload window for you to review.

When the upload is complete, ROM confirms the number of records that were successfully added and successfully updated. The uploaded records are then visible in the ROM user interface.
