Radial Fraud Insight supplements your existing fraud management capabilities with a real-time High, Medium, or Low rating for your transactions. Radial’s Fraud Insight tool opens up Radial’s expertise and machine learning technology to help you convert more orders and evaluate transactions within your existing infrastructure.

Fraud Insight leverages the same network of billions of transaction records and professional insights that our full service fraud solution uses. By combining these insights with your supplied data, we can create a custom model to accurately identify fraudulent orders in your environment.

In addition to identifying fraudulent orders, Fraud Insight also identifies good customers, reducing manual outsort and increasing sales.

How Fraud Insight Works

Fraud Insight uses over one billion customer data elements to analyze your order and determine whether an order is potentially fraudulent.

When a shopper places an order on your site, Fraud Insight analyzes it in real time and marks the order with a fraud potential rating.

Based on our database of orders, Fraud Insight rates the fraud potential of your orders:

  • Low: orders from shoppers who have already shopped with us successfully
  • Medium: orders from shoppers that we don’t recognize
  • High: orders from shoppers who have previously committed fraud

As we receive more order data from you, we fine tune Fraud Insight’s response, making more accurate over time.

If your webstore does not collect certain kinds of browser data, we’ll build rules for you that collect the data that we need to fine tune the response.

Another way that we fine tune the response is through a feedback loop. Periodically, you send us a batch file that details the outcome of your orders, whether they were accepted and processed without a problem or whether they were charged back due to fraud.

By sending us this feedback, we can not only improve Fraud Insight’s response to your orders, but to orders in general.

Fraud Insight Installation Options

To install Fraud Insight, you must first submit the form on Radial's website. You can find it here.

After you submit the form, a Radial representative will contact you to discuss your needs. Then, you’ll receive a Fraud Insight API Hostname, API Key, and Store ID so that you can install and configure Fraud Insight.

With that information in hand, you can proceed with installing Fraud Insight.

We do use your data to help Fraud Insight make better recommendations over time. In effect, Radial uses your data to refine and customize Fraud Insight for you.
