Radial Device Fingerprint - Privacy
Radial Device Fingerprint (RDF) collects a variety of information that is freely accessible via the browser and its plugins, and by observing the headers that the browser sends to our website. Below is a detailed list of information we collect, and how we use cookies.
Metrics
We collect the following metrics:
- Device information (e.g., platform, screen resolution, time zone, etc.)
- Browser information (e.g., browser type, browser version, plugins, etc.)
Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Store and retrieve a random ID associated with the user. This allows us to update and retrieve past fingerprints, which helps greatly in preventing fraud.
- Store and retrieve the date and number of times a user has been fingerprinted. This allows us to adjust the frequency in which users can be fingerprinted. For example, we may opt to fingerprint each user a maximum of 3 times in 3 months.
