Every Radial user is assigned a role. Every role has a set of permissions, which define exactly what applications and functions the person in the role can access.

Radial applications come with predefined sets of roles and associated permissions, but these roles can be customized to suit the needs of the business. Some of the ways that roles can be customized include:

  • Role names
  • The number of roles within an organization
  • The permissions associated with each role.

Roles are also assigned access levels, which determine the scope of the users' ability to configure, manage, and perform tasks. In Radial Order Management, for example, a role with Organization access can manage tasks that affect all sellers and nodes, while a role with Store access can manage tasks that affect a single store.

The Super Admin role has sweeping permissions. This person has access to almost all of the Radial applications functions, including user management and role management.

The Radial Order Management predefined roles are:

  • Store Fulfillment User
  • Store Manager
  • In-Store Customer Service
  • Inventory Manager & Merchandising Manager
  • Sourcing Manager
  • Store Return Manager
  • Client Admin
  • Radial Admin (an internal Radial role)

The Radial Payments & Fraud predefined roles are:

  • Portal Admin
  • Portal Client Manager
  • Portal Read Only
  • Portal Radial Account Manager
  • Portal Fraud Order Update

If you run into rare issues that only a Radial Admin can solve, contact your Radial Client Success representative.
