D02 Period Over Period Comparison
The Period Over Period Comparison dashboard lets you view activity levels in two different time periods, displayed side-by-side for easy visual comparison.
Filters
The filter pane for this dashboard includes the following filters.
- Seller Name
- Facility Name
- Period A - Activity Date
- Period A - Forecast: select Current or Locked.
- Period B - Activity Date
- Period B - Forecast: select Current or Locked.
Data Items
Period A and Period B
This dashboard is designed to make visual comparisons between two time periods. The left half of this dashboard shows data for Period A. The right half of the dashboard shows the same data point for Period B. By default, Period A is last week and Period B is this week. Use the filter pane to select the time periods for Period A and Period B.
In the filter pane, you can select a forecast type for each of the two periods. The forecast type applies to data points that make comparison to forecast quantities.
The headings of Period A and Period B indicate the time period and forecast type selected in the filter pane.
Select Period View
You can see values on this dashboard graphed by Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly time units. To change the time unit of the graphs, make a selection from the Select Period View menu, and click Apply.
Outbound Metrics
These line and bar graphs let you compare outbound unit totals between Period A and Period B. Actual Units Shipped and Actual Units Demanded are graphed as bars against the numeric scale on the left side of the graph. % to Forecast is graphed as a line against the percentage scale on the right side of the graph.
Outbound Aggregates
These line and bar graphs let you compare outbound activity between Period A and Period B. Actual AOV (average order value) and Actual AUR (average unit retail) are graphed as bars against the monetary scale on the left side of the graph. Actual UPO (units per order) is graphed as a line against the numeric scale on the right side of the graph.
Inbound Metrics
These line and bar graphs let you compare inbound unit totals between Period A and Period B. Actual and Forecasted totals for inbound units are graphed as bars against the numeric scale on the left side of the graph. % to Forecast (actual as compared to forecast) is graphed as a line against the percentage scale on the right side of the graph.
