The Ship Method Optimization dashboard shows actions and financial results from adjustments in ship methods. The adjustments are upgrades or downgrades of a package's carrier service based on its targeted delivery date and the promised delivery time of each service.

This pie chart shows the portion of orders that are eligible for Ship Method Optimization.

Downgrades

The number of orders with service downgrades directed by Ship Method Optimization.

Upgrades shows the number of orders with service upgrades directed by Ship Method Optimization.

% Orders Downgraded

The percentage of orders with service downgrades directed by Ship Method Optimization.

% Orders Upgraded shows the percentage of orders with service upgrades directed by Ship Method Optimization.

Savings from Downgrades

The shipping cost savings from service downgrades directed by Ship Method Optimization.

Cost from Upgrades shows the additional shipping incurred from service upgrades directed by Ship Method Optimization.

Ship Method Optimization Table

This table shows order-level details for each order that was affected by Ship Method Optimization in the selected time period.

Column

Description

Seller Name

Sales channel (store) name.

Seller ID

A unique identifier for the seller or sub-client, as set up in the order management system. Usually a seller corresponds to one sales channel, for example, a webstore serving a particular geographic region operating under a particular name.

Fulfillment Location

The store or other specific fulfillment location.

Carrier Code

The carrier by which the order was shipped. Examples: UPS, FedEx.

Original Carrier Service Code

The carrier service by which the order was scheduled to be shipped, before optimization. Examples: Next Day, Ground.

Web/External Order Number

Identifying number assigned to the order by the client's webstore.

Order Date

The date on which the order was placed.

Fulfillment Order Number

Identifying number assigned to the order in the warehouse management system.

Fulfillment Order Date

The date and time value when the order was interfaced in the warehouse management system.

Ship Date

The date and time value in Radial's warehouse management system indicating when the order was shipped.

Order Promise Date

The deliver-by date promised to the customer when the order was placed.

New Carrier Service Code

The carrier service by which the order is scheduled to be shipped, after optimization. Examples: Next Day, Ground.

Original Carrier Service Cost

The cost of shipping the order by the original carrier service.

New Carrier Service Cost

The cost of shipping the order by the new carrier service.

Total Amount Saved

The savings from optimization, calculated as (Original Carrier Service Cost - New Carrier Service Cost).
